Orders / Delivery / Refunds

Delivery Charges:

FREE within mainland UK for personal customers. (trade orders are charged for delivery according to size of order).

Our items are usually made to order and we endevour to dispatch your item within 7 working days of your order, in fact, dispatch is often within 2 or 3 working days (kiln firing, processing and dispatch take place Monday to Friday). However, at busy times, or during postal disputes, this may take longer - should there be a significant delay, we will contact you to let you know the estimated dispatch date. 

All items are well packaged to minimise risk of breakage in transit.  As with all glass items, our products are delicate and may damage if mishandled. They are therefore only guaranteed against damage during delivery. In the event of an item arriving in a damaged condition, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt (in writing or by email) to allow us to rectify the problem. At our discretion, we will either replace the damaged part/s or offer a refund. If a refund is offered, we will require the product to be returned to us by Recorded Delivery. Upon satisfactory inspection of the damaged item, we will then refund the cost of item, and the return postage costs. 

 

 Please note, we are only currently able to accept orders from and deliver to customers in the UK. Items will be delivered to the purchaser's home address/Paypal verified address. 

 Whilst we are usually able to supply you with the bottle clock (and other item/s) you request, rarely a product may be temporarily out of stock. If this is the case, we will contact you to offer you either a full refund, or if we expect to have the same item back in stock within a fortnight, the option to wait until the item is available. We do ensure that the shop's stock list is updated daily to ensure that the listing is as acurate as possible.

Payments for goods purchased are processed through Paypal's secure online payment service. No credit card details are viewed or held by The Little Glass Kiln. Most credit/debit cards can be accepted through Paypal. Please note - you do NOT require a Paypal account to purchase from us.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification. To cancel, you should email us or write to us within 7 working days of delivery of your item(s), giving full details of the order. You must take good care of the items, returning them in their original condition. You are responsible for return postage and packing costs of the unwanted item, which should be sent by recorded delivery to ensure that you are able to track their progress. Refunds will then be made via Paypal to the orignating account upon our receipt of the returned item (or by cheque of this was the original payment method). Please note: Our Bottle Clocks and pyrography items are excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations as these are made to the customers' order.

We advise that customers must be over the age of 16 years to purchase the cheeseboard/cheeseknife sets. We reserve the right to refuse to supply the product if we believe the purchaser is under this age.

Your personal information will NOT be disclosed with any third parties unconnected with your purchase. Data is collected for the sole use of this site and for payment/delivery services.

 Other Information

 

 All ReBottled! bottle clocks, dishes and cheeseboards are handcrafted by The Little Glass Kiln using recycled bottles from the local area, with original labels where applicable. We are not affiliated with any of the manufacturer's of the drinks or bottles/labels.

We regret that we no longer offer an 'own bottle' service for customers to send us their bottles for slumping. This is due to the risks involved in sending the bottle to us, and the possibility of the bottles/labels being damaged in the slumping process.

Please note, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, and possible variations in manufacturers bottles and labels, each item is unique and may vary slightly from the illustration. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that the labels on our bottle clocks are in the best possible condition, they are from recycled bottles, and slight imperfections may occur. Small air bubbles in the glass, which are a naturally occuring product of the slumping process, may also be present in the various products. However, this in no way detracts from each bottle's appeal and adds to the unique nature of each item. All pyrographed items are individually decorated by hand, so will vary in some detail from the pictures on the website.

As with any glass product, care should be taken when handling. Drilled holes can have sharp edges, so extra care should be taken to avoid touching such areas.

Dishes and cheeseboards should be wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge. They should not be immersed in water for any length of time or placed in a dishwasher, as this may cause the protective feet to come away from the glass. Should this happen, it may be possible to re-attach them with a tiny amount of superglue.
